For violated areas, the Organization Committee will cancel their rights to attend the group score competition in the final.

Tips to Fish Carps by Suspension Method

In recent years, many fishing lovers have been learning to fish silver carps and bighead carp. But due to mixing of bait and fitting of fishing units, and improper handling of lifting time, they usually get poor catch. To obtain ideal result, one must master the following tricks.
I Mixing of Special Bait
Take 30% maize meal, 30% rice bran（crumbs shredded by brown rice machine）, 25% fresh rapeseed cake powder, 10-15% flour or rice flour and 4-6% silkworm powder or fish powder, make into dough with water and steam for 20 minutes or so. Take them out of steam boxes and break into small pieces and then rub into powder while they are not scalding. And bag in a clean plastic food bag when the powder is still hot, let out the air and seal the bag, keeping the bait away from the air outside to prevent bacteria infection. In order to ensure tight sealing, 3 layers of plastic bag package can be applied, sealing the bag of every layer. Place it on the window or under sun for insolation, and let it ferment into sour and smelly fishing bait naturally. After 1-2 days, there would be smell of brewers grain and fishing bait, as well as refreshing fragrance of corn, with slight sweet and sour taste. When fishing, moderate bait of “double-hook fishing silver carp” of King of Fishing can be added in to shape doughs hung on hooks. It makes favorite bait attrative to silver carps and bighead carps.
And above materials can also be made into smelly bait, replacing silkworm powder with green blood. Take blood of hogs, cattles or poultry and place a period of time, letting it become fermented and smelly. Proportion goes as 5-10g green blood per kilogram, or 1-2 bad eggs（The longer it preserved, the better the result is）. This bait has strong fishy sell and excellent effect on silver carp fishing.

II Fitting of Fishing Units
To get a good catch of silvers carps and bighead carps, one needs a special fishing unit consisting of large floater, large hook, fairly hard fishing thread besides fitting sea pole to take up of pay off the thread to walk the fish.
Large floater can be made of empty plastic feeder of “Wahaha”, which has large flotage, long durability and obvious surface object, yet convenient to make. Modus Operandi：take an empty “Wahaha” feeder （or several）, a rubber lid （able to be replaced by saline bottle）, a small section of slim copper thread with diameter 1-1.5 mm, length of 25-30mm and 3 pin . Bend the copper wire halfway into “V” shaped button, pull through the middle of lid and then join two ends and twist tightly, leaving 3-5mm’s height semi-round ring button, which will be used to hang the connector. Cap the bottle neck with the lid and pin three pins at equal distance in border of the neck. Bend the pin head to fix up the rubber lid.
Fishhook uses 12-14 black hook of “Qianqiu” brand Yishini. The head thread uses dia 0.35-0.45 mm 4 imported high-quality single-twist nylon thread. Head threads can be of slightly different length, no need of parallelism of two. The longest three hold down naturally through middle of the bait ring and fix 8 fishhooks. And the threading rubber ring can be made of medical transfusion pipe cut into 10 mm, or other soft plastic pipe of nearly equal diameter, its size structure shown as the picture. And use 1-1.5mm thin steel wire to make bait ring. Method: look for a round steel section of dia of 10-12mm, reel the small around the round steel and then turn loose. It forms a 14-20 mm bait ring and cut it by 60-70 mm.
Silver carp and bighead carp ingest by the method of filtration, that is, it choose the lower position under the bait where food disperses and floats, instead of bite at the bait directly. Therefore, 3 fishhooks holding down under the bait with longer thread on this purpose are right position in the center of dispersed bait powder. Comparing with flying hook fishing, it features greater catching opportunity and more ideal result.

III Best Time for Pole Lifting.
Seizing good lifting time is critical to the size of catch. When silver carp and bighead carp take in bait powder, it shows in slow shaking and dancing left and right or forward and backward of the floater. If lifting this time, at most times the objects will escape, because at this time the fishhook doesn’t really get into the mouths of the objects. It’s to early. And when the floater jerks violently up and down, one will get 50% catching rate if lifting right away, or less when the object big enough to take off or slide the hook. To probe into the reason, it’s due to false hooking. Lifting at this time is still a little earlier. If he has good enough eye-sight, the fisher can see body and tail of the hooked fish are struggle up and down under the water trying to escape. This is a mature time for lifting. And lifting at the sight of sliding floater after jerking or black floating also ensure a safety catch.
What's critical for lifting time is the mastery of the “degree”. Not too early and not too late, when the floater moves greatly, just take you time and hold hte last few seconds, and then the success will be yours.
